Clearly I either missed this announcement completely, or the guys over at examiner.com have some special friends at Nintendo (and I have a feeling it’s the former), because I don’t recall hearing or reading that Nintendo would be releasing two new 3DS system and game bundles this past weekend. One is a special The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D pack that includes a Cosmo Black system with gold-trim and the game, and the other is a Super Mario 3D Land pack featuring a Flame Red system with a copy of that game.
The bundles are already available across North America at various retailers, and specifically became available on Thanksgiving (suddenly I feel even more sorry for anybody working electronics retail on Black Friday). What was not covered in their story though,is the upcoming release of two Nintendogs + Cats 3DS bundles (see images below). Both will be releasing on December 4th, for $169.99 USD.
